Position: School Psychologist (Certified) - $54-57 per hour

Job Overview

Job Title: School Psychologist (Certified)

Location: New Haven, Indiana

Setting: School‑Based (Pre‑K through 12, depending on assignment)

Pay Rate: $50.00 / hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday (no weekends, no holidays, no call)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (based on school bell hours)

Contract Length: Full Academic School Year (approx. 36–42 weeks depending on district calendar)

Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly (Travel reimbursement available for eligible candidates)

Start Date: 08/10/2026

Duration: 41 weeks

Requirements
  • Valid Indiana School Psychologist license issued by the Department of Education (or eligibility to obtain prior to the school year start)
  • Master’s, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential is a plus
  • Previous experience conducting psycho educational assessments and writing IEP components in a school setting is highly preferred
Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services, analyzing cognitive, academic, and socio‑emotional functioning
  • Interpret evaluation results and present findings clearly during case conferences and IEP meetings with families, teachers, and administrators
  • Collaborate closely with school staff to design, implement, and monitor evidence‑based academic and behavioral interventions, including FBAs and BIPs
  • Provide short‑term individual or group counseling and crisis intervention services to support students' mental health and academic success
  • Consult with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster positive classroom environments and support student learning strategies
  • Maintain accurate, compliant documentation in accordance with state regulations and district procedures
