Hours: 37.5 hours per week (based on school bell hours)
Contract Length: Full Academic School Year (approx. 36–42 weeks depending on district calendar)
Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly (Travel reimbursement available for eligible candidates)
Start Date: 08/10/2026
Duration: 41 weeks
Requirements- Valid Indiana School Psychologist license issued by the Department of Education (or eligibility to obtain prior to the school year start)
- Master’s, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential is a plus
- Previous experience conducting psycho educational assessments and writing IEP components in a school setting is highly preferred
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services, analyzing cognitive, academic, and socio‑emotional functioning
- Interpret evaluation results and present findings clearly during case conferences and IEP meetings with families, teachers, and administrators
- Collaborate closely with school staff to design, implement, and monitor evidence‑based academic and behavioral interventions, including FBAs and BIPs
- Provide short‑term individual or group counseling and crisis intervention services to support students' mental health and academic success
- Consult with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster positive classroom environments and support student learning strategies
- Maintain accurate, compliant documentation in accordance with state regulations and district procedures
