Under supervision, you will perform a variety of routine clerical and supportive activities for instructional personnel, and other related work as required. This will include:

• As directed by the teacher, work with an individual or small group of students who have learning disabilities.
• Make effective use of instructional materials and demonstrate effective methods of instruction to ensure that the individual student performance levels, needs, and abilities are addressed.
• Exercise behavior management and maintain control of students assigned to your care.
• Collaborate with teachers and other paraprofessionals in the special education and general education classrooms.
• This position will be 35 hours per week.

• You have worked hard to earn a H.S. Diploma or equivalency.
• You have the ability to lift, carry, pull, push or otherwise move 25 to 50 pounds.
• You have the ability to walk or stand for extended periods.
• You can establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
