Regional Student Ministry Director/Pastor - Seymour Campus

This role supports the vision of Student Ministries at Emmanuel Church by providing direction, administration, and oversight of student small groups and monthly gatherings across multiple campuses.
Region: The Seymour & Columbus campuses, as well as the North Vernon microsite, are part of the region supported by this role. The primary office for this position will be at the Seymour Campus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- In partnership with the Centralized Student Ministry team, maintain comprehensive scope and sequence to provide the opportunity for students to come to Christ and grow in Christ
- Support Impact Team members to ensure continuity and excellence in student small groups across all campuses
- Ensure the systems and structures of Emmanuel help students take their next step in their relationship with Christ
- Manage operations of student ministry, create content, and provide resources to student leaders and parents
- Develop and create monthly gatherings that provide students with relevant and actionable content
- Direct, organize, and oversee student small groups across all campuses
- Create weekly content for student small groups (based on monthly student gathering message)
- Analyze & maintain health of student ministries church wide (10% of overall attendance engaged in small groups)
- Assist in planning and coordination of student ministry events and attendance at all retreats, camp, student ministry gatherings, etc.
- Assist staff members with the development and implementation of church-wide strategies
- Personal and ministry development through studying and observing trends in student ministry (approved conferences, networking, etc.)
- Contribute to preparation and successful execution of student camps
- Maintain master PCO for student ministry monthly environment
- Serve as subject matter expert for student ministries
- Impact Team
- Recruit, lead and equip Impact Team members to support events, monthly gatherings, and small groups, including student & adult leaders and host homes
- Recruit and equip Impact Team members to support student camp
- Other related tasks as assigned
Education and/or Experience
- College degree or equivalent, relevant experience required
- One year of experience in student ministry or ministry leadership position (paid or volunteer) is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills with experience in conflict resolution
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational/administrative skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
- Ability to learn and use Emmanuel’s systems (Rock, Planning Center, etc.) and learn and adapt to new technology
- Demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team in a flexible and cooperative manner, self-motivated
- Demonstrate confidentiality and discretion when handling personal and ministry information
- Demonstrate a servant heart with spiritual maturity and sensitivity
