SummaryThe College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (CoHASS) at Nanyang Technological University is inviting applications for Assistant Professor (Tenure-track) in Digital Humanities. The role will shape an ambitious, fast-growing centre in Digital Humanities in Asia.

About the CentreCoHASS aims to be Asia’s leading centre for interdisciplinary Humanities, Arts and Social Science practice and research. It is launching the Asian Centre of Digital Cultures, alongside a new Masters programme in Digital Humanities.
Responsibilities and Requirements- Develop a strong record of high-quality research in digital methods in humanities or social sciences.
- Apply digital methods such as artificial intelligence, large language models, data and text analytics, data visualization, and network analysis to contemporary issues in culture and society.
- Possibly focus on Asia (preferred but not required).
- Hold a doctorate in an appropriate field.
- Be attached to the Asian Centre of Digital Cultures and one of CoHASS's four schools, based on research focus.
- Teach in the Digital Humanities MA programme and potentially undergraduate courses.
- Doctorate in an appropriate field.
- Experience in one or more of the following: AI, large language models, data & text analytics, data visualization, network analysis.
- Strong record of high-quality research.
- Ability to apply research to contemporary cultural and societal issues.
