DescriptionThe Marketing Department at the Mendoza College of Business, University of Notre Dame, invites applications for a tenured faculty position at the Associate or Full Professor level. We welcome applications from scholars working in any area of marketing, including consumer behavior, marketing strategy/management, and quantitative marketing. The position involves responsibilities in research, teaching, and service. The appointment is expected to begin in Fall 2027.
The Marketing Department fosters a vibrant research environment characterized by innovation and collaboration. Our outstanding student body is supported by a distinguished faculty whose research is regularly published in leading marketing journals, including the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Consumer Research, and Marketing Science.

QualificationsApplicants must hold a Ph.D. in Marketing or a closely related field and demonstrate an established record of excellence in research, teaching, and service appropriate for appointment at the tenured Associate or Full Professor level.
This appointment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check. Applicants will be asked to identify all felony convictions and/or pending felony charges. Felony convictions do not automatically bar an individual from employment. Each case will be examined separately to determine the appropriateness of employment in the particular position. Failure to be forthcoming or dishonesty with respect to felony disclosures can result in the disqualification of a candidate.
