Manchester University is now accepting applications for a Lecturer of Computer Science. You'll play an essential role in shaping future technology professionals through inclusive teaching, mentorship, and active collaboration with faculty and students.

What You'll Do:

• Teach undergraduate-level Computer Science courses such as:
  Introduction to Programming (Python, Java, C++), Object Oriented Programming, Software Requirements, Software Architecture
• Design and update course content to reflect evolving technologies and industry standards
• Deliver interactive lectures, labs, and assignments using best-in-class teaching practices and tools
• Evaluate student work and provide timely, constructive feedback
• Maintain regular virtual office hours and support student learning and development
• Collaborate with faculty on curriculum planning, assessment, and departmental initiatives
• Foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment

What You'll Need:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Java, C++)
• Effective teaching and presentation skills
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
• Experience and commitment to working with students of all backgrounds and skill levels
• Proficiency in English
