Secondary Special Education Teacher

Job Title

Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana Teaching License with appropriate Special Education certification/licence.

• Demonstrated knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, including IDEA and Article 7.

• Ability to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

• Experience working with students with diverse learning, behavioral, emotional, and physical needs.

• Knowledge of evidence-based instructional practices, interventions, and accommodations for secondary students.

• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work effectively with students, parents, general education teachers, administrators, and related service providers.

• Proficiency in educational technology and student data management systems.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of the position.

• Successful completion of required background checks and employment screenings.
