Daycare Lead Teacher (Full time) Southeast Fountain School Corporation Mini-Mustangs Learning Academy

Southeast Fountain Schools has a Mini-Mustangs Learning Academy opening for the Lead Teacher for the  school year. Internal and external candidates will be considered. Responsibilities include providing care to children 6 weeks - 3 years old; feeding, changing diapers, supporting potty training, and providing appropriate level instruction as determined by the lead teacher of the daycare.

Position will remain open until filled.

Starting pay for this position is $16.86 per hour. The position is full time, 6:30-2:30.

Job Requirements
  • Daycare staff must successfully complete state requirements including fingerprint background check, TB test, CPR & First Aid certification, random drug screening, and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
  • Perform assigned classroom duties including: interacting and playing with all enrolled children
  • Perform assigned lunch duties including. feeding, clean up, and documenting feeding information for parents
  • Perform assigned clerical duties which include: keep records of (attendance, lunch count, parent billing and payments, and student activities, and other records as required for LLEP licensing.
  • Perform personal needs duties of students including diaper changes, potty training, administering medications in accordance with state and local policies.
  • Determine staffing needs and scheduling staff accordingly
  • Planning and implementing daily activities
  • Oversight of daycare employees to assure compliance with all expectations for the health, safety, and care of enrolled children
  • Collect and deliver to central office employee timesheets, parent payments, and any compliance documentation as requested by the superintendent
  • Complete all assigned Vector training modules by the assigned due date
