High School SPED Aide

Christel House Indianapolis is currently seeking a full-time Special Education Aide at Watanabe High School
.

Days of Service: 202 Days.

• In collaboration with teaching faculty, identify students who are below standards in specific skills and knowledge.
• Assist students with assignments that reinforce learning concepts.
• Monitor individuals and/or groups of students to provide a safe and positive learning environment.
• Maintain records of interventions and progress monitoring.
• Provide re‑teaching and tutoring sessions around core instruction delivered by the classroom teacher.
• Implement, under supervision of the teacher, instructional programs and lesson plans to present and reinforce learning concepts.

• Attend meetings and in‑service presentations to acquire and convey information related to job functions.

• Associate's degree with some training/exposure to education and teaching.
