Eminence Community Schools is seeking a passionate and student-centered Elementary Teacher to join our team. This position will serve a grade level to be determined based on candidate strengths and student needs.

The ideal candidate is committed to building strong relationships, maintaining high expectations, and creating a classroom environment where all students can succeed.

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction that supports student growth
• Use formative and summative assessments to monitor progress and adjust instruction
• Establish a classroom environment rooted in respect, structure, and high expectations
• Communicate effectively with families and collaborate with colleagues
• Support a positive school culture and actively participate in professional learning
• Implement tiered supports and interventions to meet individual student needs
• Maintain consistent classroom management aligned with school expectations

• Valid Indiana teaching license in Elementary Education (K–5)
• Strong instructional and classroom management skills
• Effective communication and organizational abilities
• Commitment to continuous improvement and student success
• Ability to work collaboratively in a small, team-oriented environment
• Professional demeanor with students, families, and staff
