Summer Academy English Teacher

Overview

Herron Classical Schools’ Summer Academy is looking for enthusiastic educators to instruct students in English courses during a thirteen‑day term in July. Instructors will teach a single section of students from 8 AM to 2 PM Monday through Friday. Compensation is a stipend, reduced for substitute days, and includes two required professional development days in July.

July 6 and June 7, 2026.

• Teach English courses to a single section of students during the thirteen‑day term (Wednesday, July 8 – Friday, July 24).
• Deliver instruction each day from 8 AM to 2 PM (Monday‑Friday).
• Prepare lesson plans and materials for the program.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback.
• Maintain a classroom environment that reflects the Academy’s educational standards.

• A valid teacher’s license is required for this position.

• Stipend compensation.
• Two professional development days in July.
