Job Title
School Bus Escort for the RPI on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 16:15 to 17:00 during school term.
The school bus escort is responsible for the safety and well-being of children during their journey to and from school by bus. They ensure that the rules of conduct are respected and intervene when necessary.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the safety of children during school bus trips
- Controlling the boarding and alighting of children at bus stops
- Managing children's behavior during the school bus trip
- Maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the school bus
- Assisting children during boarding or disembarking from the school bus
- Respecting the safety regulations in force on the road
- Reporting any incidents or accidents to the relevant authorities during the trip
- Maintaining clear and respectful communication with the parents of the children transported
Having excellent knowledge of school transport regulations
Being able to communicate effectively with children and parents
Being able to manage emergency situations calmly and efficiently
Having a positive attitude and dedication to the safety of passengers
Being able to work independently and follow established schedules

It is possible to recruit for this position a person who is not a winner of a public service competition, as one of the grades indicated is an entry-level grade C that allows direct recruitment without a competition.
Specific Conditions of EmploymentPosition open on the following grade(s) of the Territorial Public Service:

Art. L332-8 disposition 3 or 4 of the general public service code - A contractual employee may be recruited for this position because it is a position in a small community. The proposed contract may not exceed three years, renewable up to a maximum duration of six years.
