1:1 Instructional Assistant for Special Needs Bus, Avilla Elementary
- Position Type:
Support Staff/ Special Education Assistant
East Noble School Corporation is accepting applications for: 1:1 Instructional Assistant for Special Needs Bus, Avilla Elementary
Before and After School, per day, Monday – Friday when school is in session
$16.69 per hour, starting wage.
Position will begin in early August 2026.
This position is offered medical, dental, vision insurance and Indiana Public Retirement Fund
Duties and Responsibilities:- Attends all required training sessions and applies training within the transportation setting
- Other duties as assigned by building administrator
- Monitors student one-on-one; follows medical care plan
- Assists with student documentation
- Monitors and Supervises students and assists driver as needed
- Communicates effectively and regularly with students and staff
- Participates in team planning sessions
- Maintains confidentiality of all student information
- Follows East Noble policies and procedures
- Works cooperatively with teacher(s) and other staff
- Minimum of 60 college credits
- Or be willing to take and pass Paraprofessional certification test
- Medical Background Preferred but not necessary
