Part-Time 28 Hours

• Assist students with self-regulation and prioritize self-regulation within the classroom setting.
• Meet with students individually and in small groups to teach self-regulation, executive functioning, and social skills.
• Utilize a variety of resources to engage students.
• Promote, support, and model the SCS Tier 1 Social-Emotional Learning initiative.
• Assist the MTSS team with behavior referrals through observation, data collection, and behavior plan development for Tier 2 and Tier 3 supports.
• Support the building-level crisis response team as a team member.
• Support teachers with strategies to improve student behavior and reduce time spent outside the classroom.
• Collaborate and communicate with administration and staff.
• Collaborate with the building social worker and other mental health support personnel in the school.
• Maintain satisfactory attendance.
• Demonstrate responsibility, a strong work ethic, flexibility, and initiative.
• Model the Corporation Mission Statement and Fundamental Objectives.
• Comply with Corporation Bylaws, Policies, and the Employee Handbook.
