1) utilize best practices as well as intentionally program at the direction of a licensed techer to allow tier 3 (intensive behavior) students to access their education;
2) guide students who create unsafe classroom environments and negatively impact the overall climate and safety of the classroom and likely the entire building.
position: behavior technician
40 hrs/week - 7:30am-4pm (180 days/year)
$15.25/hr (high school diploma)
* technicians with a teaching license will be paid an additional $4.00/hr
* technicians with a.s. Degree or higher will be paid an additional $2.00/hr
* technicians will be required to obtain a behavior tech certification from the exceptional children s co-op or comparable certification and will be paid an additional $2/hr upon completion
