Summary Description

The Adjunct Instructor of English will teach our Dual Enrollment ENG 101 and ENG 201 courses at selected local (Knoxville-Morristown area) high schools.

Essential Functions
  • As an intentionally Christian academic community, Christian employees are hired to advance the mission of Carson-Newman as expressed in our strategic plan, Acorns to Oaks.
  • Teaches Dual Enrollment classes (ENG 101 and ENG 201) at local high school campuses.
Education

Must have at least an MA in English and teaching experience.

Experience

Teaching experience is required.

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills;
Advanced organizational skills;
Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with all stakeholders
