Overview
St. Thomas Aquinas School is seeking a full-time instructional assistant to support elementary students. This individual will work closely with the lead teacher to reinforce classroom instruction, aid in the preparation of materials, and assist with the supervision of students.
Responsibilities- Support the lead teacher by delivering small group instruction to reinforce classroom concepts.
- Aid in the preparation of instructional materials and resources.
- Assist with supervising students and maintaining a safe learning environment.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to implement lesson plans and activities.
- Support classroom routines and behavior management as directed.
- Experience working in schools or other settings with children is preferred.
- Collaborative, student-focused approach and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Strong communication and reliability.
