The team works closely with HR and Professional Development departments to support professional growth, personal enrichment, and cognitive benefits through Spanish and English language training. Courses are tailored to workplace needs, helping teams communicate more effectively in multilingual environments.
The organization also offers conference interpreting and written translation services, creating comprehensive language solutions for its clients.
This is a part-time, on-site Spanish Instructor role based in Greater Indianapolis. The Spanish Instructor will deliver interactive Spanish classes to adult learners in corporate, healthcare, and nonprofit settings, aligned with CEFR levels and client objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and adapting lesson plans, teaching small group and one-on-one sessions, assessing learner progress, and providing constructive feedback. The instructor will collaborate with organizational contacts to align course content with workplace communication needs and may contribute to curriculum improvements and instructional materials.
The role requires reliability in scheduling, professional conduct in client environments, and the ability to engage learners of diverse backgrounds and proficiency levels.
- Ability to design and deliver effective instruction, including Spanish Teaching and Teaching skills.
- Experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development tailored to adult and professional learners.
- Skill in individualized support and academic reinforcement, including Tutoring.
- High proficiency in Spanish (near-native or native) and strong English communication skills.
- Experience teaching adults or in corporate, healthcare, or nonprofit settings is preferred.
- Understanding of CEFR levels and ability to align instruction with standardized proficiency frameworks.
- Strong classroom management, organizational skills, and ability to work independently on-site in client locations.
- Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, Linguistics, or a related field, or equivalent teaching experience.
