The mission of The PATH School is to provide a purpose-driven, culturally responsive learning environment that challenges scholars academically while supporting their social and emotional growth in order to develop conscientious citizens who transform their communities.

They have the utmost respect for their scholars and their families, and are absolutely committed to their scholars' academic and personal development and success. TPS staff members believe deeply in the importance of the social and emotional development of young people and are committed to demonstrating that belief daily.

Our staff members truly care about using every moment of every day to help our scholars grow, both personally and academically. They are able to bring their lessons and materials to life, engaging their scholars and demanding the highest results. - Associate's Degree;
Bachelor's Degree (preferred) - Assesses scholars and groups of students using various test results to help determine placement
- Uses data, such as progress reports and areas of trouble, to provide instruction to scholars and bring their skills up to grade-level
- Monitors the progress of his or her entire caseload, maintains records and communicates with families and teachers
- Attends and participates in ongoing training sessions, data analysis meetings and workshops
- Works with a team to help identify the best practices for individual scholars and groups of scholars
- Provide input regarding the development and implementation of an intervention plan
- Prepares reports for families, teachers and administration regularly
- Participates in evaluations of the intervention plan
- The ability to develop caring relationships with scholars and families
- Strong work ethic

- Excellent communication, superior listening skills, organizational skills, and decision-making ability
- Impeccable and positive classroom behavior management
- Ability to adapt material and curriculum to fit classroom/scholar needs

- A deep passion for social justice and equity for all children; a strong belief that all scholars can and will achieve at the highest levels regardless of demography
- Agreement with vision, mission, and goals of the PATH School
- Being present and engaged during entire school day
- Appropriate supervision to ensure scholar safety
- Experience working with a diverse body of scholars and staff
- Ability to stand for 2/3 of the work day
