Overview
The Department of Economics at the University of Notre Dame seeks applicants for up to three tenure-track assistant professor positions. Duties will include teaching, research, and service. Candidates with research interests in Macroeconomics, Economic Theory, and/or Econometrics will receive priority consideration.
Responsibilities- Teach economics courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Conduct research resulting in scholarly publications and ongoing contribution to the field.
- Engage in service to the department, college, and professional community.
- Entry-level candidates must have completed all Ph.D. requirements or be on track to complete a Ph.D. in Economics or a closely related field by July 1, 2027.
- Candidates at the advanced assistant level must have a Ph.D. in Economics or a closely related field.
