The Department of German, Slavic, and Eurasian Studies at the University of Notre Dame invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of German. This is a tenure-track appointment to commence Fall Semester 2027; the teaching load is 2/2, with language classes and courses on literary and cultural topics taught in German and English.
The ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D. by appointment, demonstrate excellence in teaching, and contribute to the liberal arts curriculum.
