POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Major responsibility of the position is to supervise and coordinate all designated Robotics Program team matters.
QUALIFYING CHARACTERISTICS:

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A high school diploma is required, and a Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field is desired. Prior experience working with school aged students is desired.

- Strong work ethic including attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with students and staff
- Dependable in attendance, punctuality, initiative and work completion
Assists in recruitment/outreach opportunities to attract new Robotics Program participants and coaches, assists with leading and attends student/parent meetings.
Assist in finding and training Robotics Program coaches.
Ensure all coordinators, coaches and volunteers have followed the HCS Volunteer application process.
Train mentors and communicate the HCS protocols regarding student safety, oversee mentor conduct is followed, assure compliance with all competition rules and regulations with the highest possible level of programmatic integrity, promote a harassment-free environment, and maintain proper organization/storage of school-owned equipment/materials.
Document and report any/all behavioral concerns to the Robotics Director within 12 hours of the incident, including a plan for resolution; incorporate HCS’ Discipleship plan into mentor training and student programing.
Assist with internal and external communication regarding the Robotics program.
Submit to the Robotics Program Director a beginning of the year report including:
Submit to the Robotics Program Director a year-end report including:
Assist with registration, organization and overseeing competitions held on the HCS campus as well as off-site events and attend all on campus Robotics events for said team.
Organize, attend and oversee meetings, practices, scrimmages and competitions held on the HCS campus as well as off site tournaments.
Assist with scheduling student representatives to participate in the Robotics Program display at all Open House events and oversee the updating of the Open House Robotics display as needed.
