The Department of English at the University of Notre Dame invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Early Modern British Literature. Position duties include teaching, research, and service. We welcome candidates who think in fresh and innovative ways about period, genres, and forms. Candidates with research interests in the seventeenth century are especially encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Candidates at the entry level must have completed all requirements for a Ph.D. degree or have completed all but dissertation in Early Modern/Renaissance Literature. Candidates at the advanced assistant level must have a Ph.D. in Early Modern/Renaissance Literature.
