Area Representative

Job Description

Area representatives may be hired on a part-time (exempt) basis or serve as volunteers (associate staff).

• Develop relationships with golfers in the assigned locale for the express purpose of communicating the gospel and kingdom of Jesus Christ.
• Establish ongoing meetings with small groups (Links Fellowships) and/or individuals for Bible study and discipleship.
• Establish and maintain pastoral/ministerial relationships with individual men and women. This will include, but is not limited to: preparing and conducting Bible studies, offering personal biblical advice, and providing references to professional counseling.

• Cultivate relationships among Christian golfers for the purpose of encouraging them to start Links Fellowships in and around clubs.
• Respond to inquiries received by Links Players regarding starting Links Fellowships in the assigned locale. Assist and encourage these inquirers as they move toward launching their Fellowship.
• Oversee and regularly attend 4-6 Links Fellowships as assigned by the area director, training, coaching, and encouraging the leaders of these Fellowships.
• Attend region and area assemblies of Links Fellowship leaders, as arranged by the region and area directors.
