Special Education Aid

United Schools of Indianapolis (USI) is seeking an exceptions one on one Special Education Aid to work directly with select students with significant needs including Autism. Special Education Aid partner closely with Special Education Teachers, families and our Culture Team to ensure students receive both academic and social-emotional support. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Minimum of an Associates Degree
• Experience supporting Autistic children
• Strong knowledge of child development a
• The instructional and behavioral management skills necessary to support diverse learners at varying skill levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset.
• A deep commitment to high expectations and measurable student achievement.
• Leadership potential and a willingness to take initiative to improve outcomes inside and outside the classroom.
