Work Schedule Part Time, 6 hours/day

Calendar Length School Year, 185 days

Salary/Hourly Rate $19.50/hour ($21,645 Annually) - additional compensation for college degree

Position Purpose / Description

The Alternative Classroom Instructional Assistant reports directly to the Alternative Education Teacher. Areas of responsibility include:

• Support student academic work
• Provide behavior training and coaching for students
• Serve under the direction of the alternative education teacher and program administrator
• Implement behavior plans
• Assist with record keeping
• Support student transitions
• Other duties as assigned
