Position: Central/Southern Indiana CEI Practice Leader
Location: Indianapolis

Job Description

Egis BLN USA, Inc. is seeking applicants for a Central/Southern Indiana Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI) Practice Leader position. The primary duties include development and management of CEI activities throughout Central and Southern Indiana and management/administration of INDOT or Local Public Agency (LPA) road and bridge construction projects.

Responsibilities
  • Leadership of CEI team and management of all Central and Southern Indiana CEI activities.
  • Management and administration of INDOT and/or LPA road and bridge construction projects.
  • Coordination and facilitation of project meetings with team members and various project stakeholders.
  • Recruitment and mentoring of CEI staff throughout assigned area.
  • Daily oversight of Central/Southern Indiana CEI team, including assigning tasks, reviewing work product, and generating performance appraisals.
  • Resolution of complex technical and/or contractual project-related issues.
  • Assisting State and Regional CEI Practice Leaders with identifying and pursuing CEI opportunities.
  • Assisting State and Regional CEI Practice Leaders with implementation of client development and marketing strategies among existing and prospective clients.
  • Developing and monitoring project budgets, including regular reporting to State and Regional CEI Practice Leaders.
  • Monitoring subconsultant progress and performance, including review and approval of vendor invoices.
Qualifications
  • B.S. in civil engineering or related field.
  • Indiana P.E. license preferred but not required.
  • 8+ years of INDOT and/or LPA construction project management experience.
  • Experience leading a team of construction inspection and administrative personnel.
  • Experience with business development activities, including client engagement, proposal development, and strategic planning.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Proficient in Site Manager and AASHTOWare Project software platforms.
  • Familiar with INDOT and/or LPA project administration and documentation requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
