Outage Manager
As an Outage Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting outage planning, scheduling, execution, and closeout activities. You will coordinate multiple contractors and ongoing project work within the plant, ensuring seamless operations.
Responsibilities:
- Support outage planning, scheduling, execution, and closeout activities.
- Coordinate multiple contractors and ongoing project work within the plant.
- Identify and resolve schedule conflicts, risks, and execution barriers.
- Utilize P6 Software for efficient planning and execution.
- Monitor outage progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Assist with resource planning, contractor management, and outage logistics.
- Participate in outage planning meetings and daily coordination activities.
- Support safe execution of maintenance, capital, and construction projects during the outage.
Essential
Skills:
- Experience managing outages, shutdowns, and/or turnarounds.
- Utility power generation/power block outage experience.
- Ability to coordinate multiple contractors and work streams simultaneously.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work on-site and support extended hours during outage execution.
Additional Skills &
Qualifications:
- Experience in construction management, power generation, and industrial settings.
Work Environment:
You will be working on-site at the state-of-the-art Edwardsport IGCC plant, a unique facility with cutting-edge technology and equipment. Expect to initially work 40-50 hours per week during planning and scheduling phases, increasing to 60-70 hours per week during outage execution. Enjoy benefits such as holidays, 2 weeks of PTO, and a generous per diem allowance if not local to the area.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $70.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
