As an Engineering & Management Development Program
, you will be part of an 18-to-24-month program consisting of cross functional rotations. While these rotations may be different for each EMDP, the program is designed to provide a broad knowledge of the company and death care industry. These assignments may be in, but are not limited to, the following departments:
Manufacturing, Lean Business, Line Management, Logistics, and Purchasing. As a part of the Engineering & Management Development Program you will be responsible for product assembly, proper care and handling of inventory and always following safe practices and standard.

- Manage projects and individually drive assigned activities in Engineering, Finance, Operations, and other associated areas focused on improving process and learning business practices.
- Reporting activities relating to assigned training designed to supplement each rotation and end of rotation presentations. EMDP's will meet once a month with the EMDP manager to discuss both current and future rotations and developmental opportunities as well as regularly meet with mentors.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Ability to travel 10% up to 30% of the time
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent in Engineering, Operations, or Supply Chain; minimum GPA of 3.0
- 1+ year related engineering experience and/or training.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems.
- Possess analytical, logical, and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate across functional and multicultural lines. Possess strong organizational, written and verbal communication, problem solving and time management skills. Possess ability to multi-task and manage many responsibilities and projects at one time.
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Understanding of lean principles and problem-solving techniques.
- Familiar with manufacturing systems, material flow, and associated processes.
- Demonstrated leadership ability.
