Occasional travel up to 2 times per month.

Responsibilities- Prepare accurate quantity surveys and estimates for assigned projects
- Complete pre‑construction survey and other preliminary documents
- Perform majority of quantity surveys and pricing estimates
- Complete general conditions
- Prepare vendor proposal comparison and estimate summary sheets
- Conduct plan review and obtain applicable wage rates
- Coordinate completion of proposal with others
- Develop and complete project schedule template
- Review contract specifications, documents & drawings to perform takeoffs accurately
- Critically analyze estimate for competitive bid
- Stay apprised of industry software and research new technologies
- Communicate with engineering consultants and designers to coordinate information digitally
- Develop presentation and submittal materials; drafting CAD a plus
- Occasional project site visits and pre‑bid meeting attendance
- Special projects as necessary
- Assist with other estimating duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field desired (education and experience combined considered in lieu of degree)
- Minimum of 2 years estimating experience preferred
- Experience with estimating software (B2W preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Experience with Blue Beam
- Prior experience in renewable construction industry preferred
- Proficiency with estimating software and industry standards
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compensation $95,000–$120,000/year, commensurate with experience
