Occasional travel up to 2 times per month.

• Prepare accurate quantity surveys and estimates for assigned projects
• Complete pre‑construction survey and other preliminary documents
• Perform majority of quantity surveys and pricing estimates
• Complete general conditions
• Prepare vendor proposal comparison and estimate summary sheets
• Conduct plan review and obtain applicable wage rates
• Coordinate completion of proposal with others
• Develop and complete project schedule template
• Review contract specifications, documents & drawings to perform takeoffs accurately
• Critically analyze estimate for competitive bid
• Stay apprised of industry software and research new technologies
• Communicate with engineering consultants and designers to coordinate information digitally
• Develop presentation and submittal materials; drafting CAD a plus
• Occasional project site visits and pre‑bid meeting attendance
• Special projects as necessary
• Assist with other estimating duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field desired (education and experience combined considered in lieu of degree)
• Minimum of 2 years estimating experience preferred
• Experience with estimating software (B2W preferred)
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Experience with Blue Beam

• Prior experience in renewable construction industry preferred
• Proficiency with estimating software and industry standards
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Compensation $95,000–$120,000/year, commensurate with experience
