Reports ToAssociate Director – Capital Procurement
Position OverviewThis role provides broad procurement support across site-level and general construction scopes for a major capital project. The position requires strong field awareness, practical procurement experience, and the ability to coordinate across multiple project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Support procurement for general construction, site services, temporary facilities, and support scopes
- Coordinate with construction management, engineering, safety, and project controls teams
- Lead bid processes, evaluations, and supplier recommendations for assigned scopes
- Manage supplier onboarding, purchase orders, and contract documentation
- Track materials and services to ensure alignment with construction schedules
- Support issue resolution related to delivery, scope changes, and field needs
- Maintain a regular onsite presence while supporting remote coordination activities
- Experience supporting procurement on large industrial or commercial construction projects
- Strong understanding of site logistics, construction sequencing, and field operations
- Prior owner-side, EPC, or large GC procurement experience preferred
- Ability to manage multiple scopes and priorities simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working directly with field teams
- Proficiency with standard procurement and project documentation tools
