Job Description

Join our AECOM Hunt team as an Estimator in Indianapolis, IN. Our successful team of professional Estimators are responsible for forecasting the total costs of commercial building projects, evaluating prints, materials, labor, and overhead to provide accurate bids and budgets.

Responsibilities
  • Works with the Company estimating systems and processes.
  • Acquire basic level of understanding of estimating terminology, measures, concepts and principles for preparing estimates.
  • Recognizes how various processes/project actions and assumptions may impact estimates.
  • Under supervision prepares bid packages, conceptual estimates and analysis of subcontractor bids, etc. for projects.
  • Performs duties with limited complexity under direct supervision, such as material take offs, compilation of historical data, etc.
  • Expected to assist in the preparation of larger and more complex estimating assignments including the Estimate Plan.

Minimum Requirements
  • BS Construction Management, Engineering, Business or related curriculum and 2 years of relevant construction experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in the field of estimating.
  • 2 years of construction experience.
  • Experience with construction‑based computing programs such as:
    Procore, On‑Screen‑Takeoff, CMiC, BIM (Building Information Modeling), etc.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word).

Compensation

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $64,782.22 to $.
