** As a Manufacturing Engineer-Assembly- for Rolls-Royce, you’ll play a key role acting as the Technical Authority for assembly of OE & MRO units with an emphasis on the authoring of repair orders for MRO units. ** What you will be doing
** With this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to:
* Ensure product integrity for assemblies is delivered through alignment of method of manufacture with design intent by interfacing with the appropriate design engineering organization.
* Ensure assembly processes and/or methods of manufacture are capable of meeting and continuing to meet requirements for quality, cost, delivery and lead time.
* Adhere to process change management procedures via FAIRs, MVAs and technical verification.
* Create and maintain elements of the Technical Package which clearly define the assembly process.
* When MRO hardware is sentenced as repairable, this role research the repair requirements from technical documents, like Heavy Maintenance Manual (HMM), Technical Variance(TV) etc., documents the repair process and issues the Repair Order(RO) for the actions to be completed.
* Investigate and determine corrective actions for customer complaints and quality non-compliances. Lead problem solving/corrective action groups made up of cross-functional team members.

** Basic Requirements:
*** Associate’s degree with 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing or Assembly Engineering OR,
* Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in Manufacturing or Assembly Engineering OR,
* Masters degree with experience in Manufacturing or Assembly Engineering OR,
* PhD with experience in Manufacturing or Assembly Engineering
* In order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen
** Preferred Requirements:
*** 2+ years of experience in an assembly/maintenance repair & overhaul (MRO) environment with an understanding of aerospace engines.
* Formal problem-solving accreditation (e.g. Lean, 6 Sigma, 8D)
