Responsibilities- Administer and improve supplier quality programs with responsibilities for system, process, and product audits and scorecard activity
- Work daily with purchasing, inspection, and suppliers to resolve quality related issues; disposition non-conforming material; support buyer in providing fit for use materials
- Validate Supplier PPAP/FAI parts and documentation
- Ensure timely and effective supplier root cause corrective actions
- Maintain both proactive and reactive supplier oversight through auditing, APQP, and onsite visits
- Maintain an effective reporting system for key issues and opportunities for improvement in supplier quality performance
- Develop suppliers’ use of quality and statistical tools in problem identification and resolution
- College degree with manufacturing experience preferred
- Willing to travel up to 40% domestically & up to 10% internationally - majority of travel being scheduled visits
- Preferred college degree with at least one year of manufacturing experience or technical degree with at least 3 years of manufacturing experience
- Up to 50% of scheduled domestic & international travel
- 1+ years of experience in quality inspection and/or auditing
- 1+ years of experience with drawing, reading, or interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
