Position Summary - this position is responsible for managing the development and implementation of our growth strategy for the North Central United States (Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska). The preferred location is Cedar Rapids, IA or the surrounding area.
Essential Responsibilities- Builds and maintains influential relationships with senior-level decision makers at customers and distributors in assigned territory.
- Responsible for implementing overall territory growth plan for the assigned territory. This included developing and implementing territory plans, account strategies, target programs and required action plans.
- Conducts regular reviews and strategy meetings with target customers to identify technical needs and link them to the organization's product/service strategies.
- Responsible for achieving assigned budget and growth targets for customers located within a defined geographic territory.
- Prospects and develops new customers and programs, responds to proposal requests from customers and develops proposals for presentation to customer.
- Coordinates cross functional support required from Product Management, Engineering, Customer Service and Operations to support customers.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Strong interconnect technical acumen
- Electronic components manufacturer or distribution experience
- Technical degree preferred
- Previous supervisory or management experience required
- Ability to lead and problem solve in unstructured environments
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs or projects
- Ability to travel as required, 25 - 50% estimated

Specific benefits are dependent upon whether or not the position is part of a collective-bargaining agreement. The salary offered to a candidate is based several factors such as candidate experience and qualifications, location, as well as market and business considerations.
Annual Salary Range is $103,300 to $154,500, plus benefits and incentive plans.
