Network Engineer Security Clearance

Position: Network Engineer with Security Clearance
Location: Crane

Man Tech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Engineer I to join our team in Crane, Indiana. This is an onsite position. As a core member, you will assist in the research & design, engineering, integration, testing, training, logistics, laboratory research, field engineering, and acquisition and operations analysis in support of a variety of Navy and Marine Corps programs and projects with a focus on defensive cyber technologies, mission assurance, and resilience capabilities for the tactical network environment.

* Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity

* Troubleshoot and resolve basic network issues, keeping our systems running smoothly

* Monitor network performance, ensuring maximum availability and reliability for our users

* Collaborate with a talented team to implement innovative network solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

* High School Diploma

* 1+ years of experience in network engineering or a similar role

* Basic understanding of networking concepts like TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP

* Familiarity with network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

* Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+

* Experience with network monitoring tools to keep a pulse on performance

* Knowledge of wireless networking to support modern connectivity needs

* Strong problem-solving skills to tackle challenges head-on

* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to thrive in a collaborative environment Clearance Requirements:
* Must have a current and active Secret Clearance

Physical Requirements:

* Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.

* Must be able to push, pull, and reach.

* Must be able to work in high noise areas.

* Must be able to lift 50lbs and small parts.

* Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard
