Network Engineer Security Clearance

Position: Network Engineer with Security Clearance
Location: Crane

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Engineer II to join our team in Crane, Indiana. This is an onsite position. As a core member, you will assist in the research & design, engineering, integration, testing, training, logistics, laboratory research, field engineering, and acquisition and operations analysis in support of a variety of Navy and Marine Corps programs and projects with a focus on defensive cyber technologies, mission assurance, and resilience capabilities for the tactical network environment.

* Design and implement complex network solutions that drive innovation

* Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve advanced network issues quickly and efficiently

* Optimize network performance and security to meet the highest standards

* Mentor junior network engineers, sharing your expertise and fostering growth

* Participate in strategic planning to shape the future of our network infrastructure

* Provides technical expertise in the management of a public and/or private network such as Internet protocol (IP) networks, wide area networks (WANs), and public switched telephone networks

* Plans, designs, installs, maintains, monitors, analyzes, troubleshoots, modifies, and supports network communications systems to provide maximum performance and availability

Minimum Qualifications:

* BA/BS degree or equivalent education and years of experience may be substituted in lieu of Bachelor's degree

* 5+ years of experience in network engineering

* In-depth knowledge of routing and switching protocols like BGP, OSPF, and VLANs

* Experience with network security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS

* Experience in multi-level security networks including cross-domain solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

* Relevant certifications such as CCNP or equivalent

* Master's Degree

* Knowledge of automation and scripting tools like Python or Ansible

* Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V

* Project management skills to lead initiatives from start to finish

* Ability to work independently and take ownership of critical projects Clearance Requirements:
* Must have a current and active TS/SCI clearance.

Physical Requirements:

* The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

* Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations
