The Civil/Structural/Architecture (CSA) Project Manager (PM) will be working on a greenfield multi-billion-dollar active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) manufacturing building. The project is in detailed design phase and has begun early construction with site grading and deep foundations ongoing.

This PM will report to the overall Project Manager and will be heavily focused on foundations, steel erection, building dry-in, building utilities (core), and clean rooms. A successful candidate will have a deep knowledge of these building systems including construction BMPs, sequencing, quality concerns, etc. This individual will also need to work with internal and external stakeholders to solve challenges, communicate, and drive the construction schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all CSA-related design, procurement, and construction activities for the project.
  • Act as the main bridge between design teams, procurement, and on-site construction for CSA scopes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication of deliverables, change orders, and technical issues.
  • Manage integration between CSA and other disciplines (equipment, clean room, etc.) to maintain schedule and budget.
  • Provide leadership in project meetings, ensuring all action items and reporting requirements are completed.
  • Support and report directly to the overall Project Manager, aligning with overall project goals and collaborating with other project managers (such as equipment and construction PMs).
  • Coordinate field issue resolution, RFIs, and punch list closure to ensure CSA milestones align with commissioning and validation activities.
  • Support schedule risk assessments and progress reporting, identifying mitigation strategies for CSA impacts to downstream.
  • Monitor contractor performance, safety adherence, and field execution quality across multiple CSA subcontractors.
  • Partner with Safety and Quality teams to ensure construction work meets site safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
  • Strong background in civil, structural, and architectural project management within large-scale construction or pharmaceutical projects.
  • Previous experience managing complex design packages and working on multidisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with construction phases, field coordination, and technical submittals.
  • Ability to review and oversee design changes, procurement requirements, and construction alignment.
  • Proven success in matrix organizations, coordinating across functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with mechanical and process systems to ensure CSA coordination supports MEP and process utility tie-ins.
  • Understanding of constructability reviews, value engineering, and change management processes for large-scale capital projects.
Additional Preferences
  • Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • OHSA 30-Hour
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
