Safety Coordinator
Join a dynamic team involved in closing a large utility company's 70+ acre ash pond. As a Safety Coordinator, you will perform safety inspections, audits, and compile reports on-site. You will be equipped with a laptop and an onsite vehicle to facilitate travel throughout the facility. Reporting directly to the Director of Safety, you will ensure adherence to safe construction practices.
Responsibilities- Conduct craft labor safety inspections.
- Facilitate site training sessions.
- Compile and submit daily reports.
- Update OSHA 300 logs for recordable incidents.
- Ensure the application of safe construction practices.
- 5+ years of experience in heavy industrial construction safety coordination.
- OSHA 30 certification.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with utility ash pond closure projects.
- Experience in electric utility safety.
This position is located in Pittsburg, Texas, working onsite at a power plant for an ash pond closure project. The role requires adherence to a day shift schedule and involves wearing protective gear including a hard hat, boots, glasses, gloves, and a safety vest. The work environment is fast-paced, providing numerous opportunities for professional growth and valuable field experience.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
