Location: Santa Claus

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in structural engineering and a passion for creating safe, efficient, and innovative designs. You will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing structural portions of projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities
  • Design and analyze structural components for buildings, including but not limited to foundations, beams, columns, walls, and slabs.
  • Review and evaluate existing structures.
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
  • Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated and coordinated designs.
  • Review shop drawings, perform site observations, and provide technical support during construction.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (emphasis in Structural)
  • Must have or be pursuing Fundamentals of Engineering license (F.E.)
  • Professional Engineer license (P.E.) preferred but not required
  • Structural Engineering license (S.E.) a plus but not required
  • Experience in structural design and analysis preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software preferred by not required (e.g., Robot, ENERCALC, STAAD.Pro, or similar)
  • Proficiency in CAD software preferred but not required (e.g., AutoCAD and/or Revit)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office preferred but not required (e.g., Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations preferred but not required (e.g., IBC, ACI, AISC, AISI, NDS, ASCE, etc.)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Up to $120,000/year (based on experience/qualifications)
