Due to increasing demand within our client’s projects, we are seeking Project Planners to support critical energy transition programmes across the UK. You’ll join a collaborative and high-performing team delivering complex, high-value infrastructure and energy projects in Glasgow or Edinburgh.

As a Planner, you’ll play a central role in developing and managing integrated schedules, identifying key risks, and driving performance insights that enable successful project delivery.
Glasgow – Renewable Energy & Grid ModernisationContribute to large-scale clean energy developments and the modernisation of energy transmission and distribution networks. You’ll support the delivery of renewable generation, HV substation works, and grid reinforcements, working closely with construction and engineering teams.
What You’ll Do:- Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project
- Establish baselines, WBS, and planning frameworks across major programmes
- Conduct critical path and schedule risk analysis; model 'what-if' scenarios
- Track progress and performance using Excel, Power BI, and earned value metrics
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure accuracy
- Present reports, S-curves, and dashboards to support informed decision-making
- Lead planning assurance and governance aligned with NEC/FIDIC contracts
- Mentor junior planners and support capability development within the team
- Provide planning expertise to integrated project controls environments
- Proven experience in planning major energy, nuclear or utilities projects
- Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, and performance dashboards
- Knowledge of EVM, critical path method (CPM), and risk-based planning techniques
- Familiarity with contract frameworks such as NEC
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills
- Experience in regulated environments (e.g. nuclear, oil & gas, utilities) is advantageous
- Eligible to work in the UK and travel to client sites as needed
