Graduate Engineer – Active Travel (Edinburgh)

We are Sweco’s Active Travel team. We partner with clients to design cycling and walking schemes, regenerate urban infrastructure, conduct feasibility studies, and lead the technical design of active travel projects. As a Graduate Engineer you will support civil infrastructure engineering, contribute to multi‑disciplinary consulting services, and have opportunities to undertake site supervision and digital innovation.

• Assist with provision of a multi‑disciplinary consultancy service for active travel clients.
• Support design of cycling and walking schemes, regeneration of urban infrastructure, and feasibility studies.
• Contribute to technical design, site supervision of construction, and push the boundaries with emerging technology and digital innovation.

• Degree relevant to the role.
• Less than 12 months of relevant work experience (excluding placements).
• Confident in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
• Driven, proactive, and solution‑oriented.
• Eligible to work in the UK without restrictions.
