* Provide technical support for the Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) Systems Sustainment Branch to include performing tasks such as assembling, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment.
** This position is for 2nd shift.*

- 12:30 a.m. EST*

* Key Responsibilities:
*
* + Conduct routine repair, retrofit, systems integration, calibration and testing; in-line repair and testing; operation of test equipment; coordinate test schedules; prepare inputs for test plans; review test plans and procedures; conduct or monitor system, subsystem, equipment or component testing; adjust units under test; analyze test results; and determine valid recommendations and conclusions based on test data.
+ Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions.
+ Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. Collects, maintains, organizes, compiles, and manipulates technical data.
+ Supports engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication and assembly.
+ Conduct or monitor system, subsystem, equipment or component testing.
+ Analyze test results/determine valid recommendations and conclusions based on test data.
+ Assist in design modification by compiling data related to design, specifications, and materials that are pertinent to specific items of equipment or component parts; develop information concerning previous operational failures and modifications and use judgment and initiative to recognize inconsistencies or gaps in data and seek sources to clarify information.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
*
* AA Degree in related discipline and two (2) years or more of related experience;
Or, High School and four (4) years of related experience.

* + Position will require the candidate to hold a Secret Security Clearance. (Must possess Secret clearance/Interim Secret to begin tasking.)
+ An understanding of electronics principles, mechanical systems
+ Ability to read engineering diagrams and drawings.
+ Communication and teamwork skills:
The ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others.
+ Must be U.S. citizen.
** Desired:*
* + Soldering experience. Preferably 7711/7721 Solder Certified or J-STD-001 Solder Certified
+ Experience using hand tools.
