Engineering Technician IV

Job Summary

Artisan Electronics, Inc. is seeking a Engineering Technician V to join our diverse, team-oriented company that is customer focused and employee driven. The selected candidates will join our team of exceptionally dedicated professionals in an exciting, fast-paced, highly successful company that provides engineering solutions for very complex DoD weapon systems.

• Troubleshoot and repair electronic and mechanical systems
• Diagnose and repair test failures
• Repair and re-test failures
• Data gathering for root cause analysis
• Research, compile, and analyze test data
• Help in providing technical reports and analyses, presentations, status reports, cost performance tradeoff studies, and risk assessments

• Associate's Degree in electronics or a related technical discipline, or HS Diploma or GED with 10+ years of electronics test and troubleshoot experience
• Knowledge of electrical codes and best practices
• Engineering Technician V's will be working with engineers and must have knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical measurement skills and must have experience with the quality process
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
• Automated Test Equipment experience
• Experience with diagnostic tools
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
• Ability to obtain Government Secret Security Clearance
