Responsibilities
- Showcase your expertise in technical repair for Roche assigned product lines.
- Offer valuable service to laboratory customers in your assigned territory.
- Provide routine technical support, on‑site service and repair of Roche products.
- Serve as a customer contact for technical and service‑related issues and perform preventative maintenance.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures.
- Document all activities, contribute to quality improvement, and focus on maximizing customer satisfaction.
- High school diploma and 2 years of technical school or equivalent military training or equivalent work experience.
- 5 years of progressive experience repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking OR a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry or a related field plus 1–2 years of progressive experience repairing or servicing complex mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking.
- Successfully training or certification as defined by RD Services Leadership and policy.
- Ability to travel, including some overnight travel, is required.
- 8+ years of progressive experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field plus 4+ years of progressive experience.
- Advanced knowledge of electronics, electro‑mechanical systems, information technology, and basic chemistry.
- Ability to serve as an internal technical resource, provide support after hours and on weekends/holidays, and maintain strong customer relationships is essential.
Field‑based role requiring up to 50% travel. Supports Detroit, MI and surrounding areas.
CompensationSalary range: $71,100.00 – $ USD annually. Actual pay is based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other relevant factors. A discretionary annual bonus may be available.
