Location:
Indianapolis, IN (Full-time)
As a Senior Electronics Design Engineer, you will develop electronics hardware circuits for airworthy/flyable engine controllers and monitoring systems for gas turbine engines. You will participate from brief to final implementation.
Responsibilities- Concept, design and execute electronics circuit design for control and monitoring systems
- Create schematics and support PCB layout
- Perform trade study, tolerance, worst‑case and FMEA analyses
- Develop hardware in lab through testing, diagnosis and inspection across the life cycle
- Compile functional description and design assurance reports for certifying authorities
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering with 2+ years product development experience
- Master’s or PhD in related field acceptable
- US Citizenship required
- 5+ years circuit design experience
- Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Strong schematic capture (Allegro, Cadence, Altium) and root‑cause analysis skills
- Experience with power converters, filtering, protection and EMI mitigation
- Ability to translate high‑level requirements into validated electrical designs
