Job Description

Working as part of a cross‑functional team, you are an internally recognized expert in a critical technical area for the RDQ process development function. You identify, define, and solve complex technical and business problems by applying both broad and deep technical knowledge. You oversee the delivery of assigned programs, support new programs or platforms that align with business objectives, and use your expertise when interacting with senior management and global cross‑functional teams to help deliver current and future business demands.

You Will Contribute

You will support technically focused projects and use your technical expertise to guide, direct, and influence activities led by others, ensuring that the right solutions are developed and breakthrough opportunities are identified and implemented with technical rigor. You will be accountable for the technical outcomes of process development activities (e.g., process design and specifications, scale‑up, commissioning) and for quantifying technical risks, offering recommendations, and influencing senior stakeholders in business decisions.

As a leader in your technical field, you will develop internal and external technical partnerships and foster a culture that values intellectual properties, drives competitive advantage, manages a team of process developers, and mentors others to grow technical talent.

Education / Certifications
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering or Food Science.
  • Green Belt certification (optional).
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive industry experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced understanding of statistical, modeling and simulation tools.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and oversee budgets, risks, and timelines.
  • Experience or strong aptitude for thinking and working effectively in a global context.

  • Adherence to standard PPE requirements (steel‑toe, slip‑resistant shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection).
  • Strict compliance with GMPs (hair nets, beard guards, no jewelry, no fake nails or nail polish, no lash extensions).
  • Physical demands: standing, walking, climbing stairs regularly.
  • Travel may be required as needed by the business.

Salary and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $109,000 to $149,875, depending on experience, skills, education, and location. The role is eligible for a highly competitive bonus program with potential for over achievement based on performance and company results.
