Job Description
Working as part of a cross‑functional team, you are an internally recognized expert in a critical technical area for the RDQ process development function. You identify, define, and solve complex technical and business problems by applying both broad and deep technical knowledge. You oversee the delivery of assigned programs, support new programs or platforms that align with business objectives, and use your expertise when interacting with senior management and global cross‑functional teams to help deliver current and future business demands.

You will support technically focused projects and use your technical expertise to guide, direct, and influence activities led by others, ensuring that the right solutions are developed and breakthrough opportunities are identified and implemented with technical rigor. You will be accountable for the technical outcomes of process development activities (e.g., process design and specifications, scale‑up, commissioning) and for quantifying technical risks, offering recommendations, and influencing senior stakeholders in business decisions.
As a leader in your technical field, you will develop internal and external technical partnerships and foster a culture that values intellectual properties, drives competitive advantage, manages a team of process developers, and mentors others to grow technical talent.
- Technical leadership in process development, including leading a team within a fast‑moving consumer goods environment.
- Strong technical expertise to set and deliver the business and functional agenda.
- Effective influence of category leads and cross‑functional leaders (e.g., vice presidents).
- Critical thinking and proactive thought leadership to ensure solutions to complex issues are delivered.
- Collaboration in a fast‑paced global commercial and technical environment.
- Coaching and mentoring of others.
- Ensuring foundational skills keep pace with technological advancements.
- Creating a culture of technical curiosity, learning and collaboration.
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering or Food Science.
- Green Belt certification (optional).
- Minimum 8 years of progressive industry experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced understanding of statistical, modeling and simulation tools.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and oversee budgets, risks, and timelines.
- Experience or strong aptitude for thinking and working effectively in a global context.
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences and influence stakeholders.
- Resourceful and creative approach to developing innovative solutions for complex challenges.
- Collaborative spirit, fostering strong relationships across functions and teams.
- Self‑starter with a positive, "can‑do" attitude, exhibiting flexibility, agility, and a results‑oriented drive.
- Curious and open communicator committed to continuous learning and professional development.
- On‑site presence: at least 65% of activities conducted on the plant floor within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Direct impact on product quality, process performance, and cost efficiency as a recognized Subject Matter Expert.
- Adherence to standard PPE requirements (steel‑toe, slip‑resistant shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection).
- Strict compliance with GMPs (hair nets, beard guards, no jewelry, no fake nails or nail polish, no lash extensions).
- Physical demands: standing, walking, climbing stairs regularly.
- Travel may be required as needed by the business.

Salary and BenefitsThe base salary range for this position is $109,000 to $149,875, depending on experience, skills, education, and location.
