Controls Engineer II

• Provide automation support and troubleshooting for formulation areas. Assist in the implementation of change controls for process improvements and bug fixes as needed.

• Designing, implementing, and supporting PLC, HMI, and SCADA software for control systems and equipment.
• Designing, implementing, and supporting electrical hardware systems.
• Understanding manufacturing processes and process instrumentation.
• Investigating and solving complex problems.
• Demonstrating solid rapport with clients, peers, and supervisors.
• Addressing on-call requests as needed.
• Being a self-starter that can work both independently and in team-based project environments.
• Remaining a minimum of 80% billable with leadership and sales assistance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering field.
• 3–5 years of experience in process control and automation.
• 3–5 years of experience in programming, developing, and configuring PLC, HMI, DCS, and SCADA software for control systems (experience with Rockwell, Factory Talk View SE/ME; iFix, Delta
  
  V, Plant
  
  PAx, PCS7, Siemens, or Wonderware is a plus).
• Ability to support Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Ability to read piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&).
• Ability to address on-call requests as needed.
