Responsibilities
- Serve as technical lead for Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) manufacturing equipment.
- Lead capital equipment projects including specification, procurement, installation, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and startup.
- Develop and own URS, technical specifications, and equipment lifecycle documentation.
- Support troubleshooting, root cause investigations, and reliability improvements.
- Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, MSAT, QA, Validation, and Maintenance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Direct experience with OSD equipment (blending, granulation, compression, coating, encapsulation, milling).
- Proven capital project leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of GMP regulations and validation requirements.
- Experience working with OEMs and managing vendors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field).
