$70,000 - $95,000 Base Salary + Full Benefits + 401(k) Match
We're partnering with a growing packaging company seeking an experienced Packaging Design Engineer to develop custom packaging solutions for industrial customers.
This role focuses exclusively on packaging design; candidates must have experience within the packaging industry.
What You’ll Do- Design corrugated, foam, wood, reusable, and protective packaging solutions.
- Develop packaging specifications, drawings, and documentation.
- Work directly with customers, sales, operations, and manufacturing teams.
- Conduct packaging validation using ISTA, ASTM, and industry standards.
- Drive packaging improvements focused on cost reduction, product protection, and sustainability.
- Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of packaging design experience.
- Experience with Solid Works, AutoCAD, ArtiosCAD, or similar CAD software.
- Knowledge of corrugated, foam, wood, and protective packaging materials.
- Packaging industry experience is required. Candidates should come from a packaging manufacturer, packaging distributor, protective packaging company, or similar packaging environment.
